Hello! I am finally back! (well I was actually
back on monday at midnight but I was too
lazy to say till now XD) ANYWAY! GUESS
WHAT?!?! I'M FINALLY 15!!!!!!!
My birthday was June
3rd (wenesday) I'm so happeh!!!! And I need
to wish Holly a happy birthday too! ^^ (it
was friday last week on the 29th )

Sooo, you wanna know what happened on
the trip? Oh you don't? Well that too bad,
I'm writing it anyway! if you don't feel like
reading the whole thing just skip to the
bottom, there's other things.

May 27th 2009 (Wenesday):
We were SUPPOSED to leave at 8am but
when they ordered the new instruments we
were supposed to get that day but for some
reason they were sent to Chatam instead of
here in Sarnia!!! (Chatam is like an hour
away) So when they FINALLY got here at
around 1pm we were very happy and pissed
off XD
The ride there wasn't so bad. They people
that came were: Mr. Charlant, Mr. Philips,
Mr. Lucas, Ayenya, Jaque, Adam, Cory,
Nick, Jimmy, Brandan, Nathan, Natasha,
Christine and me. We took two vans, I was
in the van with Mr. Charlant (the one who
planned it all), Jaque, Natasha, Christine,
Nathan and Ayenya, the rest were in the
other van. Ayenya, I didn't know her and
she was the "chaperon" for the girls (she
was more like a big sister ). She's the
nicest personne you'll ever meet, seriously.
She's really smart too so I got smarter just
on the ride there! It was about 10 hours but
we stopped for food and that lol.
We were releaved when we finally got there.
We stayed at the 'hostel' in Ottawa wich
used to be a prison but is now a hotel/inn
thing wich is pretty cool. The teachers and
the girls were all way on the 9th floor! The
last floor and it was all by STAIRS! D; Our
legs hurt so bad from goin up and down all
the time =.= The guys were only in the 7th
floor, lucky. So when we got to our rooms,
we unpacked and went to sleep.
It rained pretty much the whole way there.

May 28th 2009 (Thursday):
Woke up at 7am, got ready and that, that's
when I found out it takes like half an hour to
an hour to style my hair =.= (But I did it in
10 minutes this morning! ) anyway, we
were halfway ready and the other girls were
in the showers and I was in my room alone
when Mr. Lucas knocks on my door:
Me: what is it?
Luc: I need to use your mirror *walks in*
Me: why can't you use the mirror in your
room?
Luc: all the othet teachers are still sleeping
(it's already past 7:30am)
Me: Really?!
And it wasn't gonan get any better. The
teachers (minus Mr. Lucas) were always
the last ones up and ready XD. After
everyone was ready we went for breakfast
at this one place called Dun's it's pretty
good. Jaque wanted to go to Cora's wich
apparently is really expensive and got more
of the guys to want to go but the teachers
obviously said no lol. After that we walked
around and decided where we were gonna
play. After that we had to go back to the
prison because it started to rain so Mr.
Charlant and Mr. Lucus went to buy a tent
thing to cover us and the instruments.
Natasha and Christine were getting pissed
at how long they took but apparently they
had to go all the way to Gatinau! After that
we went to see this "play" or whatever
called run chicken run, apparently this
"play" was meant for little kids and here's
us, a whole bunch on teenagers goin to see
it with six year old kids! XD By the end of it
most of us was like WTF? It was really
weird and we were surprised that that was
for kids. It was pretty violent. After that we
went to the museum that was of the war.
Well war in general. It was pretty cool, in
the WWII section they even had Hitler's
limo thing that was captured by the
Americans and it had bullet wholes in it. It
was pretty cool. But the museum was like
a maze! I got lost a couple of times and
Ayenya got lost alot more times, she has a
sorta type of closterfobia or somethin and
she was panicking and me and Nathan
helped her out but then we got lost. We
asked for directions and found our way out
XD Afterwards everyone was pretty hungry
but we had to wait because we couldn't find
Mr. Lucus and Mr. Philips so we had to
wait. 20 minutes later they FINALLY show
so we left to have supper. We went to this
place called "Works" which was famous for
it's burgers. I was NOT in the mood for
meat and I hate burgers. But Jaque
convinced me to try the veggie burger made
of tofu XD he likes tofu so I was like ok... and
it's good! It actually tastes like meat! But I
could only eat half, I got so full! After supper
we went back to the prison and hung out
there then went to bed. We didn't have time
to busk wich sucked.

May 29th 2009 (Friday):
Ayenya's birthday! : D (also holly's! ^^) They
both turned 22 so we had a party (not
really) but we ate chips that I brought for
the trip. ^^ We went to Dun's for breakfast
again, I had the same thing to eat too XD
(fruit and homefries! lol) And then we went
and busked it was fun. But it started to
rain so some of the guys and the teachers
went to get the tent thing anf set it up over
Natasha and Christine (they were playing
while they were doin that) We also got to
meet Ayenya's brother and his wife (who
was pregnant : D) she's pretty. They were
cool, we also did an interview with him cuz
he does that kind of stuff lol. It was fun
hearing Cory rap (he's a good rapper) but no
one was around when he rapped
After we were done busking, wich was like
an hour and half to two hours later, (we got
money! : D) we went to the mall, I got
Greenday's new album! (21st Century
Breakdown!) Weeee! It's a good album I
really like it. But I was depressed because
we didn't have a CD player so I couldn't
listen to it until I got home then we went
to supper at....I don't remember where! D:
Anyway, I had poutine there and it was
good Then we went back to the museum
where we saw Run Chicken Run and we
thought we were gonna see another "play"
like that but it was something
WAAAAAAAAAY better. The group was
called Delorium? They're a Korean
drumming group. There was six of them,
two of them were guys. THEY WERE
AMAZING! I so wanna do that now. It went
on for an hour and I was surprised at how
much energy they had the whole way
through! Baggin on those drums like that
and keeping the beat amaing shit man. XD
My favorite was one of the guys, he was so
charismatic and funny! XD He had this huge
smile on the whole way through! XD His
face must of hurt afterwards lol. (It was like
this --> ) He kept the whole
croud going too, he's awesome, he also
has big muscles on his arms XD He had to
take his shirt off near the end because he
was getting too hot lol. They also sang,
they were good singers, one of them the
other guy was rapping amd it was all in
Korean so I couldn't understand it but it was
good I wish it never ended, everyone else
liked it too. Ayenya is tryin to be in
journaling so she got to take awesome
pictures and videos, she even got to go
backstage and get a picture with the group!
She also got their manager's contacts and
business card! She's so lucky ^^
After that we went to go busk again in a
different spot, we busked for what seemed
like 3 hours! But it was fun! and it was at
night (beside a bar too XD) so there was
lots of drunk people lol, when I played Hey
there Delilah a guy and his three friends
were walkin by and he was like "Hey, I
know this song!" and he was singing along
as he passed XD apparently some people
were dancing to it lol. But when Adam,
Lucas and Jaque got up there, WOW.
They're amazing, they got most of the
money. Mr. Lucas is amazing on guitar and
so is Adam, he is GOD on guitar and Jaque
is a really good drummer, REALLY good.
but all he had was a bongo, poor Jaque I
drew pictures of people playing when we
were done this one apparently Libonese
guy (who was watching since almost the
begginging) came up to Mr. Lucas and
sayin how good it was and got really deep
and stuff and was saying how it reminded
him of somethin libonese and Mr. Lucas
was like "Ya, I'm glad we could
inspire...Libonese...thoughts" XD that killed
me! It was so funny the way he said it! That
made my day. Mr. Lucas is such a kid
though, (he's 24?) he'll randomly start
singing in a funny voice or make random
noises like once he was makin random cat
noises XD man, he kills me XD
Well, we didn't get back to the the prison till
like midnight and when we did we went to
bed cuz all of our legs were sore, Jaque
and Jimmy decided to stay the night in the
cells (the ones were actual prisonners
stayed)Mr. Charlant wussed out XD he
stayed for like a half an hour then left LOL.
Jaque and Jimmy got 20$ each from Mr.
Charlant XD

May 30th 2009 (Saturday):
We got up at 7:30am this morning (we were
sopposed to get up at 8:30) but Ayenya
said we should get up earlier. So we did.
Again, the teachers (minus Mr. Lucas) were
the last ones ready. We were leaving for
Montreal today, but we were gonna do one
more busk before that. So we packed up
our stuff in the vans and had breakfast in
the market place, I ate at this one
Japanese place. I finally got to try Udon
noodle soup! AND DAIFUKU! : D It's
good. I want more XD Jaque and Jimmy
din't like it though lol, because the outside
of the Daifuku was soft and Jaque said that
it didn't taste cooked and that if it was
cooked and less mushier (it felt like gummy
candy) that it would taste better because
the red bean paste was good. Then we
went to find a new spot to busk because
the spots we took the day before were
being used. I made friends with one of the
guys that was in one of our spots ^^ me and
Ayenya said he should check us out if he
had time. Me, Natasha and Ayenya made
friends with this other guy who poses like a
statue with tennis rackets and when
someone gives him change he changes
position lol. So we did that with him until he
got some more change. IT'S HARD! XD And
he does harder positions then we did. Then
we found our spot and got more money
from busking, I think we got the most
money that time because we were outside
of a mall. And the guy we said to come by
did come! that made me happy Also,
near the end of our busking this one guy
pulled up in his car with his dog and he had
one arm! O.O I started talking to him and
his dog is nice and cute! ^^ Apparently the
guy plays here alot and he's been doing so
for a few years. So ya, that was cool. After I
said my goodbyes, we got in our vas and
set sail for Montreal! When we got there we
find out that the hostel we're staying at has
NOTHING. And it's really small and
cramped. It looked like a house on the
inside, we were like "Is this someone's
house?" but it wasn't. It had a really small
and narrow kitchen and the rooms were
really small too, just enough for the
bunkbeds. The bathrooms were JUST
enough the fit the toilet and sink! and then
there was a sepreate bathroom for the
shower wich was also small. They was also
a mini livingroom. Biggest room in the
place, it had a couch and two chairs. -__- IT
SUCKED. AND THERE WERE NO
BLANCKETS! Just really thin sheets and it
was FREEZING at night, felt like the middle
of winter =_= well after we settled in he
headed to the parking area near the Cirque
du Soleil and walked around there to look
for a place to eat and we found a streat with
our school name on it! XD It was awesome
lol. We ended up eating at this cafe called
St-Paul. I had poutine again lol. I was
sitting across from Brandan (the guitarist in
meh school band) and he hates french an is
not good at speeking it but when we were
there he spoke french 99% of the time! XD
It was hilarious because he was putting "la"
at the end of most of his sentences XD he
sais it makes it fremch LOL. After that we
went to see this native group play on the
street, they were pretty good. Then we went
to get our instruments to busk near the
entrance to the Cirque du Soleil tent and
Jaque finally got to play his drums! They
were awesome,and they were floods of
people coming out from the Cirque du
Soleil, I swear, all of Sarnia was in there!
XD They just kept coming and going in
non-stop! At one point this one homeless
guy was wathing and then he sat down with
Nick and a couple of others guys, I think it
was Brandan and Cory who were smoking
and he started talking to them. At one
point, Jimmy was about to play but then the
cops showed up! OAO Apparently (I say
that word alot XD) the native group saw us
getting a bigger crowd then them and
figured we wouldn't have a permit
(apparently you need a permit to busk) and
the cops kick us out. -__- So I went to sit
down with Nick an the homless guy and
start talkin with him, he's pretty cool.
So after we packed our stuff up and left we
went back to the hostel and went to bed.

May 31st 2009 (Sunday):
Woke up at I think 8am, got ready, waited
for the teachers (again) and then we went
for breakfast at this one place. I had a
crepe with strawberries and white chocolate
IT WAS SO GOOD! Then we went to this
park? that they have this music/drumming
thing every sunday and you don't need a
permit. Everyone brings they're bongos or
whatever and just jam out in a drumming
cirlce IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!
And I swear, all of Sarnia's population was
there! Even more I bet. XD It was so fun
though! We bought two more bongos there
so now our music program has three
bongos! We can be our own Delorium! |D
*is shot* That took like half the day. OH!
And I forgot! We went up this huge hill/cliff
thing before we went to that park and the
view was AMAZING! Seriously! You could
see ALL of Montreal! It was amazing. Gots
lots of pictures. Anyway, just had to add
that in.
After the drumming thing (it wasn't even
over when we left) we were waiting for Mr.
Charlant and Mr. Philips to get the vans and
it started to rain! DX so we his under a tree
and started our own drumming circle XD
After that we went....CRAP! I forgot where
we went! >.< Anyway, we were outside
somewhere and it started to rain HARD.
And it was freezing. So we tried to find a
place to eat, and we did. I had fries again
-__-;; BUT IT WAS SO EXPENSIVE
THERE! TTATT and I had coffe, My third
coffe that day. But I was STILL tired =__=
Anyway, after we went there (it stopped
raining) we...um, we....we went shopping in
the souvenir shops, SO EXPENSIVE! oAo
didn't bie anything there lol. Um, theeeen
we hung out at the hostel fer awhile, having
a bongo fest in the kitchen (lol). Then I feel
asleep -__-;. I was soooo tired I just passed
out on my bed. Apparently I sleped for an
hour OAO Jimmy wopke me up to tell me
we were gonna go for a walk to find a club
or somethin to have fun on our last night in
Montreal. So we did that. When we were
wlakin down one of the really steep streets
(like a freaking hill!) Cory jumped on
Jimmy's back and piggybacked him down
XD (I got pics) and walked downtown were
alot of clubs were. We even went in the
chinatown (I've never been in one before)
and then went back out. After some more
walking we couldn't find a place so we
headed back to the hostel, I HATE HILLS.
Anyway, it was fun. When we got back we
hung out for a little then went to bed (soooo
tired) passed out.

June 1st 2009 (Monday):
I was happy because I got to sleep in, we
were told to get up at 10:30am. So after I
got up and got ready, I hung out in the mini
living room waiting for the teachers playing
hacky sack with Jimmy's hacky sack that
he bought on Sunday at the drumming
circle thing. After the teachers were ready
we packed up everything to leave and ate
breakfast at the same place and I had the
same thing again lol (it's sooo good) then
we left to go home. I wanted to go with the
guys this time (because the girls were
annoying on the way there and it was bad
music) but alas I was not able to, but when
we made our first stop Jimmy was willing to
switch with me! That made me really
happy! (I think Jimmy was happier too) At
first the guys were pissed XD I think it's
because they thought I was gonna be
annoying but I wasnt. It was so much
quieter with them too. My ears didn't hurt!
(They blasted the music in the other van on
the way to Ottawa so I was deaf pretty
much)and we listened to GOOD music!
From Mr. Lucas' iPod. I learned of a new
awesome band too, Mars Volta. Check
them out. After awhile the guys started
talking to me yay conversation! : D And like
two hours before our second stop Cory took
out a smoke and put it in his mouth XD :
Me: Can't wait?
Cory: It's an addiction
Me: lol
Cory: If you ever start smoking, don't start
with these *points at his smokes*
Brandan: *looks over and laughs* Dude,
those will kill her!
Cory: These are realyl strong and high grade (I think is what he said) that's why I'm not after them every hour
Me: Like this kid over here *points at Brandan*
Brandan: wha?
Cory: Dude, the cigarettes he egst are from the reserve! They use all the tabaco left over that they can't sell, they take tabaco from other companies to. So when you have one then you have another after that you'll be like like "This one tastes different"
Me: Ew.
Brandan: Hey, they're free.
XD so ya, then we stopped at our second stop. We had to wait because for some reason Mr. Charlant (driving the other van) switched highways. So we had to wait for him. After that we were back on the road. Then Mr. Lucas put a song on of Marc Volta and the intro (or ending?) was all these weird noises that were like calming? in a sense. I was like "Luc! This song is puting me to sleep!" He laughed, so did Cory and Brandan. A little while after (or so I thought) Cory nudges:
Me: *is startled and sits up* Huh? what? Did I fall asleep? On you?
Cory: Yea.
Me: Oops, sorry! >.< (haha sorry Cory! )
Finally we stopped in Forest to drop Jaque off (he lives there and not in Sarnia):
Luc: So Marlene? Did you like Mars Volta?
Me: *still half a asleep* Ya....
*people laugh*
Me: *still half asleep* Wait, what song?
Luc: The one that put you to sleep
Me: oh. I dunno...
XD then we were on our way to Sarnia (YAY! ) We arrived arounf 11:30pm. I WAS gonna take a ride with Brandan because when I called my mom earlier she ddin't answer but I decided to call her again and she came to pick me up.
